I use more gadgets than anybody I know. I buy a lot of them, too. Those who have followed my work for any length of time understand that for me, the gear must help me get my work done, and easily.
I don’t buy the flashiest new device unless it will serve me well. I don’t need the latest and greatest, I need stuff that makes me productive.
Today I’m working all around downtown Houston with such gear. It happens to be all Apple gear, but that’s not always the case.
See my review of the BrydgeAir keyboard on ZDNet.
The tiny gear bag is carrying the iPad Air 2 attached to a BrydgeAir keyboard. I just reviewed the BrydgeAir on ZDNet so I’ll just say that the combo is the best mobile system I have ever used, and by a wide margin. Together they form a true laptop replacement in a small package.
This is augmented by the iPhone 6 Plus which is the best phone I have ever owned. Throw in the Apple Watch and I am able to stay informed even with all the other gear nestled in the bag.
It’s not about being trendy, I don’t care about that. It’s about using gear that works, and that plays well with the rest of the kit.
